Chesapeake-Potomac Invitational

Chesapeake was pleased to host the 25th annual Chesapeake-Potomac Invitational (formerly called The Meltdown) this past March. The three-day, open curling competition first began in 1983 as a competition between the Chesapeake Curling Club and the Potomac Curling Club of Laurel, Md., to identify the year’s best Maryland curlers. The honor of hosting the event alternates between clubs and is only open to members of these two Maryland clubs.

This year’s winning rinks were:
   *   Mary McHugh of Potomac, First Event;
   *   Jason Sethi of Potomac, Second Event;
   *   Sandra McMakin of Potomac, Third Event;
   *   Bill MacDonald of Potomac, Fourth Event.

Congratulations to these teams and all that participated and helped make this event a continued success!
