Leagues

The Chesapeake Curling Club provides ice from December to March, hosting three regular curling leagues and several open curling sessions throughout the season. For more information about the leagues, please see the information and contact person listed below. Practice ice is available on selected Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Private and group instruction is also available to interested persons and club members. If you are new to the sport of curling, we recommend you attend one of the Learn To Curl sessions offered. To make arrangements for any other type of instruction, please contact our membership committee.

In addition to its regular activities, the Chesapeake Curling Club hosts teams from across the country and Canada for tournaments or bonspiels, and members of our club regularly travel to other clubs in the U.S. and abroad to compete in curling events. Please check the club calendar for a listing of these and other exciting club events for the upcoming season.

Men's League
Wednesday, 7-9 pm
Open to any male club members, sign-up not required but suggested. New curlers welcome. Individual competition based on games played, games won and points scored. Fun for all levels.

Ladies' League
Thursdays, 6:30-9:30 pm
Open to any female club members, advanced sign-up not required but suggested. New curlers welcome. Individual competition based on games played, games won and points scored. Games begin at 6:30 sharp, followed by light dinner prepared by rotating league members. Fun for all levels. Members of the Ladies League are also members of the United States Women's Curling Association, and annually compete in the USWCA All-American.

Fun Fridays
Fridays, 6:30-11 pm
Co-ed team league. Open to all club members, advanced sign-up is required. New curlers are welcome. Number of draws and teams will be established based upon number of members who sign-up. A great way to start your weekend!

Open Curling
Saturdays and Sundays, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Scheduled events will take precedence
Open to all members, advance sign-up not required. New curlers welcome. Fun for all levels. Great place to try out a new position.
